While it is obvious that the current growth scenario is very
positive, experts say that even the future prospects of Ghaziabad are bright.

The Ghaziabad sub-market has a large population base employed in
the industrial sector and SMEs, and low-income workers looking to upgrade to
better accommodation.
In the near future, the better areas within Ghaziabad, like
Indirapuram and Vaishali, should continue to hold their ground while the lower-income
profile areas of Sahibabad, Raj Nagar Extension and further developments coming
up on NH-24 and GT Road will account for majority of sales volumes. With prices
in the Noida Extension precinct in the Noida sub market expected to be higher,
Ghaziabad will continue to garner interest, particularly for affordable
projects in Crossings Republik, Raj Nagar Extension, and on the NH-24.
“Ghaziabad's real estate
market has given good returns and has turned out to be an amazing living
experience for buyers. Property buyers, in fact, initially saw Ghaziabad as an
alternative option for the insufficiency of land and unaffordable prices in
Delhi and Noida. But it has now managed to grow as a more mature market by
making a name of its own. The approval of a new Metro route from Dilshad Garden
to New Bus Stand and an elevated road from NH-24 to NH-58 will further boost
the property market of Ghaziabad.“
“Ghaziabad is currently going through a phase of rapid economic
growth with a huge investment going into various sectors.
It is also emerging as one of the preferred cities for industry, institutions, and ITeS sector. The proposed plan to develop a commercial hub like Connaught Place with ultramodern facilities at Raj Nagar District Centre, situated adjoining the district headquarters, will also attract investors as well as end users to the property market in Ghaziabad.“

Currently, the city also has more than a dozen big malls and
multiplexes, and this figure is expected to double in the next few years.
Experts say that new developing areas like Raj Nagar Extension,
THA (Trans-Hindon Area) and its neighboring areas will come up with more malls
in the near future, which is likely to further boost retail in the city.
“Infrastructural developments like the extension of the Metro route to
Ghaziabad and widening of the NH24 to six lanes are likely to aid in furthering
residential developments in this area. The core demand is likely to come from
the low and middle-income population for the residential offerings in this corridor,“
