Infrastructure Development in Ghaziabad
Strengthening infrastructure was the top priority, newly-appointed Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) Vijay Kumar Yadav said.
The 2006 batch IAS officer said his foremost priority is to strengthen the infrastructure, complete the ongoing projects on time and make the city better than other destinations in the national capital region (NCR).
"This city has tremendous potential of being the world class smart city. It lies very close to the national capital. NH-24, NH-58 and old Grand Trunk (GT) Road pass through this city..." he said.
For strengthening the infrastructure, priority will be accorded to the 9.4 km long DMRC corridor to new bus stand, 11.2 km long elevated road from UP Gate to Raj Nagar Extension and connecting Vaishali metro link with Mohan Nagar.
